Krumiri Biscuits

Krumiri are traditional biscuits from the Piedmont town of Casale Monferrato. Made exclusively with flour, sugar, fresh eggs, butter and pure vanilla essence. These fine biscuits are exquisite eaten on their own while also constituting the perfect accompaniment to beverages and soft-serve desserts. Perfect with a cup of tea at any time of day, try offering Krumiri with a sweet red such as a Brachetto or a liqueur; the most dedicated gourmands will enjoy them in soft creams, with zabaione or a steaming mug of hot chocolate.
